Manning Auctions to Perform at Children's Discovery Museum the Magic of Discovery Gala - Press Release - Digital Journal

The Discovery Children's Museum the Magic of Discovery Gala will be held Saturday, October 15, 2016 at The Wynn, Las Vegas. Celebrity Auctioneer, Jeffrey Michael Manning, an international auctioneer who sold the Primm Estate last October on CNBC's Secret Lives of the Super Rich and played "The Auctioneer" in the Nicolas Cage, Elijah Wood, Jerry Lewis movie , "The Trust" is donating his time to conduct the live auction which includes performances and live auction on stage acts that blend entertainment into the auction.

This year’s gala will recognize all the educational magic the children’s museum offers the community. The museum’s Board of Trustees and staff are excited to present the 17th annual Great Friend To Kids Award to Wynn Las Vegas. The hotel and its employees have been tremendous supporters of the museum’s mission by funding arts educational outreach programs serving children and families in Southern Nevada and by giving of their time and talent through volunteering. The museum is planning to raise the bar this year at its biggest fundraising event beginning with a cocktail reception and lively silent auction, followed by a gourmet dining experience and live auction. Entertainment will be front and center as Wynn Las Vegas’ Le Reve – The Dream and Steve Wynn’s ShowStoppers perform. Guests are encouraged to dress in whimsical black-tie.

This year’s event Co-Chairs are Stacie Truesdell Michaels and Carrie Carter Cooper. The Magic of DISCOVERY Committee includes Tyra Bell-Holland, Madeline Benito-Banaszak, Lauren Browne Sugars, Judy Cebulko, Amanda Kouretas, Lisa McAnallen, Nicole Parry, Natasha Spinella, Becky Solomon, Nicola Weicker and Maurice and Jessica Wooden.

The Magic of DISCOVERY Gala event partners include: By Dzign, Cashman Photo Enterprises, Southern Glazer Wine & Spirits and Wynn Las Vegas. LUXURY Las Vegas is the media sponsor. Jeff Manning will be the auctioneer and Bryan Chan will emcee the gala.
